In 2011, he decided to pursue his entrepreneurial dream and establish Pacific Preferred Insurance. Under his daily leadership, the agency has flourished and in 2015 was selected as the Primary and Exclusive Online Producer of a state-sponsored program, California’s Low Cost Auto Insurance, that helps make auto auto-insurance affordable for many California residents who otherwise would not have been insured. His passion for client service and his commitment to learning has helped form the foundation of his success. He takes a comprehensive approach when analyzing clients’ insurance coverage to uncover their true risk exposures, ensure they and/or their business are properly protected and classified, and identifies alternative risk transfer strategies.
In 2018, he was invited to join the Forbes Los Angeles Business Council, where he is able to connect with other business leaders, contribute to leadership articles and provide short tips on industry-related topics for publishing on Forbes.com In honor of his mother who passed away from cancer in 2006, he established the Andrina Goodwin Foundation, which since 2011 has provided care and support for those going through illness and bereavement. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering and mentoring the youth and was a mentor at the California National Guard Grizzly Youth Academy. He was named Sports Volunteer of the Year by the Boys and Girls Club of Conejo Valley in 2015 and enjoys coaching basketball, baseball and soccer. He is also a Registered and Bonded California Legal Document Assistant and a member of ProVisors a community of professionals who serve their clients as trusted advisors and share the highest standards of integrity, performance and accountability. |
