Installment Plan
It's important to note that although your California Low Cost Auto Insurance Policy is a 12 month term, the payments are compressed over a total of 7 months after the initial 20% down.
In some instances, it may appear that your monthly payments are higher than what you are paying now in the voluntary/standard market, but that's because you are not paying on the last 4 months of the policy term through the California Low Cost Auto Insurance Program.
Please note, each installment includes a $4 installment fee (already included in the price estimate). At this time, the program only offers payment in full or a 20% down payment + 7 monthly installments.
